Every Sunday after church, CJ and his grandma ride the bus home from church. Their journey takes them crosstown, through the dirt and the grime of the urban setting. CJ wants to ride in a car, like his friends, and he wishes he had an iPod like the other boys. His complaints and his dissatisfaction are met calmly by his grandma, whose encouragement eventually helps him see the beauty and the fun in the world around him.
